Led by purpose, driven action.

The UN Sustainable development has set 17 goals to transform our World by 2030.

Mental health plays a crucial role in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as it intersects with various dimensions of well-being, equality, and sustainable devel

People don’t have access to mental health care because of stigma, economical problems, or geographical location. Therefore Minplan works for equal access to mental health care. And we help to democratize healthcare and pave the way for cheap and accessible solutions. Minplan aims to play a role in efforts to achieve social inclusion and equity, universal mental health care, prevention and treatment of substance abuse.

By integrating suicide prevention safety plans into mental health initiatives and policies, we can address the complex interplay between mental health, well-being, and sustainable development. These plans play a vital role in supporting individuals in distress, reducing suicide rates, and building resilient communities, all of which are essential for achieving the SDGs.

Suicide prevention safety plans

A suicide prevention safety plan can contribute to the achievement of several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) outlined by the United Nations. Here’s how such a safety plan aligns with some of the goals:

Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being

Good Health and Well-being: Suicide prevention safety plans focus on promoting mental health and well-being, which is directly linked to SDG 3. By addressing suicidal ideation and providing support to individuals in distress, safety plans contribute to reducing the global burden of mental health disorders and promoting overall well-being

Goal 4: Quality Education

Suicide prevention safety plans often involve educational components that raise awareness about mental health, suicide risk factors, and available support resources. By integrating mental health education into school curricula or community programs, safety plans help achieve SDG 4 by ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education for all.

Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure

Suicide prevention safety plans can leverage technology and innovation, such as AI-powered apps, to enhance early detection, crisis intervention, and support systems. By harnessing digital platforms and infrastructure, safety plans contribute to achieving SDG 9, which emphasizes sustainable industrialization and innovation.

Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions

Suicide prevention safety plans align with SDG 16 by promoting mental health as an integral part of social justice and strong institutions. By providing proactive measures, crisis management protocols, and accessible support systems, safety plans help ensure peaceful and inclusive societies.

Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals

Suicide prevention safety plans require collaboration among various stakeholders, including governments, healthcare providers, community organizations, and technology developers. By fostering partnerships and multi-sectoral cooperation, safety plans contribute to SDG 17, which emphasizes the importance of global partnerships for sustainable development.
